The Catholic Care of the Aged Volunteer Services is a support group to the CCA in its ongoing care program for residents in the nursing home, hostels, and self-care units. The work of the volunteers covers a wide range of activities.

Our trained team of Pastoral Care volunteers regularly visits all of the Catholic Care of the Aged facilities – endeavouring to assist our residents respond to their needs and to the losses and changes associated with ageing. Sr Jill is also available to assist family members and staff. Bereavement programmes are run periodically as are Support Groups for the relatives of our residents. LOURDES & ST AGNES’ CARE OF THE AGED AUXILIARY
The Auxiliary raises funds for the parish aged care facilities. The money provides amenities to improve the quality of life for residents in the aged care hostels and nursing home. The auxiliary meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm in the John Worner Centre.
