Lifestyle Program

CCA offers a multitude of varied Lifestyle programs to all residents. The Lifestyle programs have been created with a person centred approach, which keeps in mind that all residents enjoy different activities including active, healthy and independent programs of their choice with all their wants and needs being identified.

The Lifestyle team, together with all staff, bring their own mix of skills with their individual drives, ideas and passions and are committed to give the best quality care to all residents.

Your lifestyle, interests and happiness are important to us; your choice is our desire. We aim to provide you with the opportunity to still access the community by providing a broad range of activities.

All staff support residents to pursue their interests and share their stories and wealth of knowledge and skills with each other, in a safe environment. CCA encourages families and friends to continue to be actively involved in the resident’s life.  Our range of programs include outings, music groups, men’s shed, gardening, swimming, ceramics, overnight trips, intergenerational groups, internet kiosks, pet therapy, coffee shops, church services and Days of Significance.

CCA has a strong band of over 280 Volunteers, who offer assistance across a broad range of activities and Pastoral Care to the residents within our facilities, they strengthen the many varied activities we are able to offer to our residents. Volunteers contribute a great community spirit through their values, enthusiasm and commitment.

Volunteers are very welcome at CCA across all ages with our youngest volunteer being 15 years and the oldest 96.  We offer a structured Volunteers Program with orientation, continuous education and support throughout their time with us.
