There are 11 Family Groups operating under the guidelines of the Passionist family Group Movement within the Parish. There are approximately 370 members, comprising single people and couples with or without children - the age range is 0 to 85. The Movement promotes community spirit within the Parish and gives example to and involves children in Christian sharing. There are shared social outing which enable members to gradually get to know each other - this leads to them building bonds and caring for and supporting each other in times of celebrattion or need. The groups are for all people and have been found to be an easy way for non-Catholics and newcomers to feel part of our Parish community. New members are placed in groups by the co-ordinators as they strive to keep a balance within the groups.

Dedicated to helping needy people. More commonly referred to as Vinnies. St Vincent de Paul go to people with love, compassion and kindness. They try to look after their spiritual and intellectual needs as well as their material needs. They see their role as advocating for those who have no voice, endeavouring to empower those who see themselves as having no power. Giving a hand up, not just hand outs.
