The aim of the Resource & Training Program is to increase the access and participation of all children with additional needs in Australian Government Funded Children's Services. This is achieved through training and support to staff in Children's Services across the region (Taree to Coffs Harbour) in the provision of developmentally and culturally appropriate programs for all children. Children with additional needs may include those with a disability, those from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, those who are from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander or South Sea Islander backgrounds or those who are refugees and may have experienced trauma and torture. |
