Catholic Care of the Aged (CCA) requires suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses to provide clinical care to residents in our various facilities on a casual basis.

Catholic Care of the Aged (CCA) is an integral part of St Agnes’ Parish, Port Macquarie.  With over 600 people in our care, CCA is the largest aged care provider within the areas of Port Macquarie and Kempsey.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses to provide clinical care to residents in our various facilities.  The successful applicants will be committed to the person-centred/evidence based approach, and will work co-operatively and respectfully with residents, co-workers, families, visitors and volunteers to provide quality evidence-based clinical care, as detailed below:

SELECTION CRITERIA

·         Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles

·         Registered Nurse - current AHPRA registration, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience

·         Flexibility in your availability is essential

·         A genuine interest in, and compassion for, the Aged

·         Shows a high level of initiative and a positive approach

·         Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

·         Displays a flexible, calm and understanding manner

·         Experience in ACFI desirable

JOB RELATED REQUIREMENTS

·         Aged care experience desirable

·         Basic computer skills

·         Be medically fit to carry out prescribed duties

·         Available to work weekends, public holidays and shift work

·         Driver’s license and phone essential

CONDITIONS

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Diocese of Lismore Care Services NSWNMA and HSU NSW Enterprise Agreement (2014-2017)
