Catholic Care of the Aged (CCA) requires suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses to provide clinical care to residents in our various facilities on a casual basis.

Catholic Care of the Aged (CCA) is an integral part of St Agnes’ Parish, Port Macquarie.  With over 600 people in our care, CCA is the largest aged care provider within the areas of Port Macquarie and Kempsey.


CCA offers a warm, caring and compassionate environment that caters for the full continuum of the ageing process, from self-sufficiency through to full dependency across our community care, retirement living and residential care services.  We provide positive lifestyle choices and a person-centred approach to care for older people that will enrich and fulfil their lives.  Our services are delivered in a Christian context characterised by compassion, commitment, dignity, respect, excellence and love for all.  We continually strive to improve, develop and grow our staff and our services with the aim of developing innovative approaches that will provide the best possible care for the people we serve.


We seek suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurses to provide clinical care to residents in our various facilities.  The successful applicants will be committed to the person-centred/evidence based approach, and will work co-operatively and respectfully with residents, co-workers, families, visitors and volunteers to provide quality evidence-based clinical care, as detailed below:


·         Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles

·         Registered Nurse - current AHPRA registration, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience

·         Flexibility in your availability is essential

·         A genuine interest in, and compassion for, the Aged

·         Shows a high level of initiative and a positive approach

·         Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

·         Displays a flexible, calm and understanding manner

·         Experience in ACFI desirable


·         Aged care experience desirable

·         Basic computer skills

·         Be medically fit to carry out prescribed duties

·         Available to work weekends, public holidays and shift work

·         Driver’s license and phone essential


Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Diocese of Lismore Care Services NSWNMA and HSU NSW Enterprise Agreement (2014-2017)
