Catholic Care of the Aged (CCA) is an integral part of St Agnes’ Parish, Port Macquarie. With over 600 people in our care, CCA is the largest aged care provider within the areas of Port Macquarie and Kempsey.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced people for Care Service roles, to provide resident-directed ancillary (kitchen) services within our Aged Care facilities in St Agnes’ Site. The successful applicants will be committed to the person-centred approach, and will work co-operatively and respectfully with residents, co-workers, families, visitors and volunteers. SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
  • Experience in food handling
  • Certificate II in Hospitality (desirable)
  • Be able to observe accurately and follow directions precisely
  • A genuine interest in and compassion for the aged
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to be able to work shifts during the week and weekends

CONDITIONS

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Diocese of Lismore Care Services NSWNMA and HSU NSW Enterprise Agreement (2014-2017).  Attractive salary packaging is also available for permanent employees.
