We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Program Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to assist and support St Agnes’ Parish with the implementation of an exciting new IT approach, to compliment and endorse St Agnes’ Parish Strategic Plan.

ABOUT US

St Agnes’ Parish is a dynamic not-for-profit organisation located in idyllic Port Macquarie.  The Parish employs more than 800 staff who serve the local Hastings/Macleay community in aged care, community welfare, early childhood services and education. 

THE POSITION 

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Program Manager.  The primary purpose of this position is to assist and support St Agnes’ Parish with the implementation of an exciting new IT approach, to compliment and endorse St Agnes’ Parish Strategic Plan.

 

The successful applicant will facilitate the management of multiple projects, including (but not limited to);

  • Optimising legacy systems with the new opportunities in mind;
  • Managing effective integration of IT into the organisation for optimal effectiveness;
  • Recommending IT strategies & solutions;
  • Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;
  • Imparting knowledge to St Agnes’ personnel;
  • Delivering effective engagement of key stakeholders and external vendors.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles
  • Extensive IT Project Management experience
  • Ability to build relationships with key senior stakeholders and external vendors
  • Advanced problem solving skills to facilitate innovative solutions to complex issues
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with an ability to convey complex information to a range of audiences
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in regard to negotiation
  • Ability to effectively escalate issues when required
  • Proven ability with change management and negotiation skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX experience - desirable
  • IT relevant tertiary qualification – desirable
