We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers, with both permanent and part-time roles available, to provide services to clients in line with the NDIS

Centacare is integral part of St Agnes’ Parish and provides a range of support services and accommodation for those in need including those with disabilities or mental health challenges, families, and the community within the local areas of Port Macquarie and Kempsey.

THE POSITION/S

As an experienced Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to deliver high quality, professional person-centred services and access to the community to our clients. You will have the very valuable role of assisting people to achieve their goals that, without us, they may otherwise not get to achieve. We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers, with both permanent and part-time roles available, to provide services to clients in line with the NDIS.  You will be a values driven team player who can address the following selection criteria:

SELECTION CRITERIA

·         Commitment to work in harmony with Catholic Values and Principles

·         Certificate III in Individual Support or Disabilities

·         Current First Aid Certificate

·         Current NSW drivers’ license

·         Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Competency and accuracy in computer skills as well as report writing                   skills

·         Ability to work independently and professionally and to follow agency                  guidelines

·         Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and hours
