THE ROLES

In this rewarding role as an Early Childhood Educator, you will work alongside other educators to create a stimulating, positive and inclusive environment for the children in your care. You will be dedicated to providing high quality care and education in partnership with the Service Manager, staff team, families and the broader community of SJFS.

We have numerous roles to fill as follows:

30 hours/fortnight – x2 roles

Fixed Term until December 21 2018.

Positions are reliant on funding, should funding be ceased, the position hours and days may vary.

St Josephs’ Preschool and Long Day Care Centre

Ref No: 18/18

Full Time role – Fixed Term

Full time for fixed role until March 2019. Hours will be reduced to 45 hours/fortnight ongoing  at conclusion of fixed term.

St Agnes Early Education Centre

Ref No: 18/19

45 hours/fortnight (parental leave relief)

Fixed Term role until October 2018

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • A demonstrated commitment to work in harmony with Catholic values and principles
  • Certificate III  in Children’s Services
  • Working with Children Check clearance
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
  • A working knowledge of Education and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Be prepared to work between 7.00am–6.00pm, and be flexible in your availability of hours and days
